Founded in 1839,The University of Chichester is an open university which received its university status in 2005. Notably, the University of Chichester is a member of The Cathedrals Group.

Situated in West Sussex, England, the university maintains two campuses one in Chichester city and the other in Bognor Regis. The university maintains 14 departments offering specialization programs in sport, humanities, musical theatre, Engineering, Computing, Business, and education. The main campus of Bishop Otter includes modern facilities and historic buildings. The campus is home to some of the popular study programs including social work and social care, fine arts, dance, humanities, music, law, psychology and sport, counseling, and theatre. On the other hand, the Bognor Regis campus is set close to Bognor Regis beach and Hotham Park. It is also home to some of the popular study areas including Business and Management, Engineering and Design, Creative and Digital Technologies, Education and Teaching, and Musical theatre.
